We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to manage all financial administration, from accounts payable and receivable and variable expenses to payroll and budgets.

The Bookkeeper will support the General Manager in the financial management of the organisation, which has been pivotal to the development of so many young people.

This role comes with flexibility in terms of hours and provision for hybrid working arrangements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting/bookkeeping
  • Experience with accounting software
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience working on their own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the arts industry and the nonprofit sector would be 
  • advantageous

Key responsibilities

  • Reconcile financial statement and records
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Process accounts payable and receivable
  • Monitor Cash Flow, and manage invoices and receipts
  • Assist the General Manager with budgeting and forecasting
  • Work with external auditors for the auditing of annual financial records
  • Submit annual audited financial statements to the CRA
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
  • Support the General Manager with funding applications (including for the Arts Council)
  • Oversee payroll
  • Act as Secretary to the organisation

Salary: €7,500 per annum, based on part-time 1 day week (€37,500 pro rata)
